Birthday Celebrations at Ramtekadi
On May 31 2007 lots of laughter and smiling faces filled Ramtekadi for the monthly Aardhar Kendra birthday celebration. Every month the team leaders and field workers who work for the Aadhar Kendra programme organise a collective birthday party for all the children sponsored by the scheme whose birthdays fall within that month within Ramtekadi,Tadiwala Road and Bibewadi.
Each child was presented with a gift and was able to share in a celebratory buffet with their friends. It is occasions such as this that enables the children who benefit from Aadhar Kendra to celebrate their birthday in such a way that may not be possible within their family setting as well as ensuring that each childs birthday is remembered. Judging by the high spirits it is certainly evident that the the children really appreciate and reap the benefits of the scheme.
